Compact, low maintenance benchtop stripper is easy-to-use to thermo-mechanically remove coatings from optical fibers. Adjustable temperature range from 60° to 200°C lets you strip extremely difficult and baked-on coatings and fluoroacrylate undercoatings. Fixed blade model supports standard 120µm optical fibers, including 250µm, 400µm and 900µm coated fibers. Precision self-centering blade produces high strength stripping. Adjustable blade model is designed for optical fibers with cladding diameters of 40µm to 1000µm, with buffer diameters up to 1200µm. Both models can be used with variety of platforms and clamps.
